HDARC™ The High Desert Amateur Radio Club of New Mexico Inc.™ at the Nuclear Museum STEM day.

The High Desert Amateur Radio Club spent Saturday the 12th of February 2022 at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History for their Discover S.T.E.A.M. Day celebration. The HDARC had two locations inside the museum.

The first was near the entrance of the museum and attracted lots of attention as folks entered the museum.

The display at that location featured ham radio on satellites. One of our newest members is a satellite scientist and was available to answer questions.

Our other location was well back in the museum where many other facets of ham radio were demonstrated with static displays and hands on involvement. In all we had about 15 members to support our endeavor. Thanks to all for making this a tremendous success!
